This Hyperbaric Technician position sets up the interior of the hyperbaric chamber and provides the highest and safest quality of care for hyperbaric patients.


  • This position requires recent medical training as an EMT, corpsman, medic or LPN.

  • This position also requires strong interpersonal skills; physical strength to move and lift patients and equipment.

  • Successful passing of a medical examination is required to determine physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position without hazard to self or others.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.


  • Completion of an approved course (National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology) is preferred before hire.

  • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certificate is preferred at time of hire.
