Milliman Administrative Assistant Seattle in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

  • Prepare and proof client documents in Word following consistent corporate styles with meticulous attention to detail

  • Provide support with basic Excel tasks

  • Prepare creative and attractive PowerPoint presentations

  • Coordinate and maintain team members’ calendars and meetings

  • Coordinate travel including airline, hotel, and car rental reservations

  • Screen, direct and respond to incoming calls and inquiries

  • Prepare monthly expense reports

  • Enter monthly timesheets for team

  • Process invoices

  • Provide basic bookkeeping skills

  • Organize, inventory, and maintain library

  • Enter contacts into database

  • Coordinate staff meetings and other events as needed

  • Purchase supplies and maintain inventory

  • Operate office equipment such as scanner, copier, printers, and projector

  • Support team members on projects as needed

  • Other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of administrative experience

  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat

  • Experience with SharePoint applications

  • Efficient worker with good organizational skills

  • Conscientious and flexible team-player with a great work ethic and a sense of humor

  • Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality

  • Professional demeanor

  • Strong reading, writing, and oral communication and comprehension

  • Strong editing skills

  • Resourceful, service-oriented, dependable, and tactful, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently

  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail

  • Strong command of English, with outstanding spelling and grammar

  • Strong word processing skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and work with frequent interruptions and time constraints

  • Enthusiastic, helpful attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must be available to work 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM each weekday, with occasional overtime as necessary

  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or other relevant post-secondary education or training
