How do we fit into all of this? Our team provides engineering systems support in addition to many other services to the entire organization. This allows our partners to ship quality experiences to their customers…fast. We are looking for a Sr. PM to develop strong collaborative relationships with key Business users to deliver reliable, supportable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with app teams to gather requirements and create specs for solutions to common build process issues

  • Work with developers to resolve blockers to productivity create specs for solutions to ease the pain and ship to customers faster

  • Work with engineering system teams across Microsoft (1ES, WDG Core ES) to influence priorities and features so that the Windows Next organization’s goals can be met

  • Work with Windows Next teams to help create roadmaps to move from team unique solutions to problems and instead use Microsoft wide solutions

  • Help evangelize standard methodologies for ES across Windows Next and across Microsoft

  • Help to determine proper telemetry to gather to determine blockers and inefficiencies

  • Help design experiences that internal customers will use to ship and track their applications

  • iOS/Android and Unity experience would be beneficial

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years Program Management experience building consumer-focused end-user experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical understanding of app development, with an eye for what's needed under the hood to bring our scenarios to life

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, manage multiple priorities and juggle schedules

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven history building relationships with partner teams across a large organization to drive impactful positive results

  • Deep consumer empathy, including ability to understand what we should build and why, based on user insights and market data
