Job Title: Zamboni Driver

Reports to: Facility Maintenance Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly/ Non Exempt

SUMMARY:

SMG is currently looking for a Zamboni Driver at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining the ice during hockey season along with daily operation responsibilities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:

• Work with Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure ice is prepared and maintained to NHL standards.
• Operate Zamboni in a safe and efficient manner as well as train fellow crew members on the Zamboni.
• Help with making and removing of ice.
• Maintain glass and walls according to SMG standards'.
• Provide training to Ice Crew members on SMG best practices.
• Help with chair set, set up and take down of other events such as concerts and banquets.
• Assist with day of requests from clients for hockey games, concerts, banquets and other events at the accesso ShoWare Center.
• Follow all SMG/ShoWare Center policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to alls safety codes and laws.
• Ability to work all hockey games which are generally scheduled in the evenings and on weekends.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to work extended hours, nights, weekend, holidays in addition to normal business hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift 80lbs or more on a regular basis.
• Must be able to communicate, written and verbal, in English.
