What you’ll do:

Position Title: User Experience Analyst iXp Intern

Location: Bellevue, WA

Expected start date to end date: June 11–August 17th

  • Enhance existing User Insights data products and analytics through the use of models and statistics

  • Perform analytics delivery end-to-end, from data acquisition to information visualization/presentation and synthesis of recommendations and insights.

  • Help identify analytics patterns and practices to help scale offerings and enable self-service

  • Competencies -

  • You will need to be able to:

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand the problems they’re trying to solve, and structure analyses to address their business needs.

  • Think critically about the problem set and analytics approach.

  • Be able to independently extract data out of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, and produce impactful analyses with clear, actionable business insights. You are able to synthesize complex analyses and communicate succinctly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Position Requirements:

  • Working towards a degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics)Experience using technology to work with datasets such as scripting, Python, statistical software packages (R, S-Plus, SAS or similar).

  • Familiarity with data analytics skills using technologies such as Hadoop, Hive SQL

  • Familiarity with data visualization skills ideally with Tableau

  • Positive attitude and a team player with a “roll up your sleeves” and ownership mindset.
